We are a small Oban based company of solicitors. The business was formed in the 1960s by John Stevenson, the then town clerk of Tobermory on the island of Mull. When John became the Procurator Fiscal in Oban he then set up his practice in Oban town in the former Clydesdale Bank Buildings in Argyll Square. For those old enough to remember the TV series Sutherland’s Law, it is said this was based around his practice and life. Stevenson Kennedy moved to its present listed offices in 1984 in Stevenson Street in the centre of Oban.
